City of Dalton Curbside Recycling Recognition Set For February 18

The City of Dalton Curbside Recycling Program will be recognized for it’s 2012 recycling efforts on February 18 at 6:00 pm at Dalton City Hall during the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting. In 2012 residents participating in the Curbside Recycling program collected 2,504,820 lbs. of recyclables at the curb, the equivalent of recycling 85,693,466 aluminum soda cans.
Residents are invited to attend the special presentation and learn more about the local recycling program. Representatives from the recycling center will be available to answer questions and distribute free America Recycles Day items. For more information call 706-278-5001.
